28 July 2010  Update on Vincent's Funeral  Len has just received a call from Fiona, one of Vincent's daughters, to say how comforted they have been at the wonderful Tributes and Cards and kindnesses from the Blaisdon Old Boys.  They would like any Old Boys who attend the funeral to come back to Anna's, Vincent's Wife, house for tea.  The whole family would like to meet the Old Boys who have been so generous in their regard for Vincent.

20 July 2010  Update No 3 on Vincent Shaw.  Len Carter received a call earlier this evening from one of Vincent's daughters to receive the very sad news that Vincent died in hospital this afternoon sometime.  Len's wife Sylvia was in tears as she was a good friend of both Vincent and his wife Anna, who is devastated.  Please keep  Vincent and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this devastating situation for them.  We will all miss Vincent at our meetings as he was a loyal and welcoming member of our Brotherhood.  May He Rest In Peace.

20 July 2010  Update No 2 on Vincent Shaw  Len Carter called me to let me know that Vincent's wife, Anna, had called him to let him know that things were not good.  The doctors had said that Vincent was not responding to any of their procedures.  It seems we are now praying for a miracle.  Please keep Vincent in your kind prayers./

18 July 2010  Update No. 1 on Vincent Shaw  I have just been called by Len Carter, his long time friend, with the news that Vincent has suffered a massive Stroke  whilst in hospital.  Very sadly this has left Vincent very paralyzed and unable to speak.  Vincent's wife is very distraught.  Len will keep me updated on how things progress so I can let the Blaisdon membership know.  Please keep Vincent in your kind prayers and thoughts at this critical time for all the family.  Many thanks.
