Rodney Marsh RIP

Blaisdon 1954 - 1958/9

News received from Derry Maher

"It is with great sadness that I have to report Rodney Nash died earlier today.

Rodney was at Blaisdon from 1954 through to 1958 or 59.

After school he spent a few years in the Army and then took up a career driving articulated vehicles.

In later life, whilst running his furniture business, he was an instructor in Martial Arts and taught in the local community centre, being succeeded by his son.

Rod had been physically incapacitated for some years, but maintained a wicked sense of humour particularly when it came to speeding in his mobility chair!

His wife, Vivian, has undertaken to advise me when the funeral arrangements are known. RIP"

Please keep Rodney and his wife Vivian in you kind thouughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time.  May He Rest in Peace.
