Norman Taylor makes the big 80
on 14 June 2008
Norman, like a number of Blaisdon and Enfield Old boys, found out much later in life of family members that he never new of, or even that they existed. For Norman this has turned out to be a wonderful and life enhancing experience. Some of Norman's family turned out to be living in the USA. Needless to say the celebrations were in two parts both in UK and in the USA
Below is a painting of Blaisdon Hall being presented to Norman from the English side of Norman's family.
It was painted by Malcom S Perry who has previously been commissioned by Doris, Norman's Sister. Malcolm had to find a picture of Blaisdon Hall on the Internet from which he created this gift for Norman.
Norman will be in the USA for his 80th Birthday with the American side of his family, with the UK side all there for the big event. We await some photos to be added to this celebratory page.
