Blaisdon President

Like any Association, Blaisdon Association needs funds to give its members the services and support they need, as well as maintain out commitments to National Federation and the National Salesian Mission Projects for the year.

It has been suggested on a number of occasions that it would be convenient if this could be done by Standing Order.  To meet this request  I set out below the data you need to set up a Standing Order with your own Bank:

Name of Account:       Salesian Old Boys Blaisdon Association

Name of Bank:            Barclays Bank Plc.

Branch Sort Code:        20 33 83

Account Number:        10805734

Branch Address:           18 Southgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2DJ

Your contribution can be just for the Annual membership fee, or if you can afford to and are happy to do so, any further donations are gratefully accepted.

We are now generally required, as a Local Association to support the National Mission project to the tune of £1000.00. per annum.  Fortunately, through the generosity of a few, we have so far more than met our share, which you will see from the GB Salesian Mission Projects section.  Again a Standing Order for this is a convenient way to support the vital work these Mission Projects support, especially in Liberia.

Donations towards this part of our Mission support should be made payable to:

                                  "SALESIANS OF DON BOSCO"

and to ensure they attract the extra 28% Gift Aid, where appropriate, endorsed: 'Scholarship Appeal 2008/9' and sent to:

c/o Pat Howes - National Treasurer, 3 Wisley Road, Battersea, SW11 6NF

Pat will forward to the Fr Joe Brown SDB. Missions Director, and record them as a Blaisdon contribution to the National Federation project.

It would be helpful to copy your information to Tony Brady, Blaisand now, since 30 August 2009, also Blaisdon President.
