Recollections of Blaisdon Hall

Children's Carol Service 2007 Westminster Cathedral A number of Blaisdon Old Boys were invited by the Catholic Children's Society (Westminster) to join them for the Children's Carol Service in Westminster Cathedral. The service was in the presence of Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, and were provided with reserved seats close to the Cardinal. Some photos below of this wonderful service, where over two thousand children from many schools in the Westminster Diocese packed out the Nave, seated on the floor in school teams. Photos below were taken by Norman Taylor, who was one of those invited who could attend. Getting things organised. The packed Nave. Norman's wife Sylvia is at the right foreground with Service sheet in hand. Some of the children acting out the Nativity story. Click here for page 2
