Friends of the:

Catholic Children's Society (Westminster)

  The Catholic Children's Society (Westminster), formerly known as The Crusade of Rescue, started a new initiative, originated by Elise Campbell-Hands, to have an annual luncheon in Central London for 'Friends of the Society'.  This is those who give on a regular basis, which is so vital in enabling the Society in the Diocese of Westminster to carry on its challenging work for the young, their parents and/or friends.

 The first such lunch took place in The Charing Cross Hotel on the 14th October 2011.

A  number of former Crusade of Rescue members, who are now regular contributors to the work of the Catholic Children's Society (Westminster) were included in this inaugural luncheon.  

Most of these were former boys at St. Joseph's, Enfield and Blaisdon Hall, and one a former girl from St. Anthony's, Feltham.  One was a wife of an Enfield and Blaisdon Old Boy.
